Megami Meguri Ending Distribution

Capcom will be removing the talking communication game Megami Meguri from the Japanese 3DS eShop on September 30 at 09:59 JST…

Megami Meguri

Megami Meguri originally released for Nintendo 3DS on December 8, 2016, as a free download on the Japanese eShop with in-app purchases. A physical Collector’s Package also saw release for a limited time. The game was unique in that it worked with Japan’s IC Cards (which are available at railway stations) allowing you to engage with the game’s protagonist, Tsukumo, as the game’s story unfolds. Approximately 9,000 railway stations across Japan appear in the game which is also compatible with 10 types of IC Card.

Capcom blame changes in the external environment for the termination of the service. From September 30, you will no longer be able to download or update the software, purchase the in-game currency or any additional content, use the check-in function or play seasonal events. After the service ends, you can still use the downloaded main story however, along with any purchased jewels and additional content. Japanese 3DS owners can still download the game at this link, with 2,599 blocks required. Check out the game’s trailer below…
