The Last Blade Coming to Switch

SNK have just published the NEOGEO POCKET Color fighting game The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny

Originally released on the NEOGEO POCKET Color in 2000, the popular weapons-based fighting game The Last Blade is now available on Nintendo Switch in a special edition, priced at ¥800! The game features a variety of modes, including Story Mode, Survival, and Training. You can also unlock two mini-games and power-up scrolls unique to the main game, as well as compete in VS battles against other players in tabletop mode or handheld mode.

In addition: SAMURAI SHODOWN director Hayato Konya reveals in a special video message (added below) that a character from The Last Blade game will be slicing their way into SAMURAI SHODOWN as part of the game’s upcoming Season Pass 3 DLC, and which will be a character “the fans absolutely adore!” Konya also reveals that the team will be balancing and adjusting the game as well. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
