The friends of Ringo Ishikawa & Arrest of a stone Buddha

Arrest of a stone Buddha

The friends of Ringo Ishikawa is 2D open world beat ‘em up similar to the Kunio-kun series where you can pick fights with other gangs, go shopping, hang out at a burger restaurant or bar, or even get a job to earn money, attend classes and do homework to consider, and even play truant! Arrest of a stone Buddha shares a similar aesthetic, but changes fists for bullets and is set in 1970s France with you playing a hitman in search of answers. Both games release as a package on January 28th, priced at ¥3,960. Check out the box art here and pre-order here.

On Step From Eden

On Step From Eden

One Step from Eden combines strategic deck-building and real-time action with roguelike elements, allowing your character the chance to carve a path of mercy or destruction. Fight alone or with a friend in co-op as you cast powerful spells on the fly, battle evolving enemies, and collect game-changing artefacts. it’s developed by Thomas Moon Kang with the digital version launching earlier this year, courtesy of Humble Games. The packaged version is set for February 25th release in Japan, priced at ¥3,960. You can pre-order the physical release here.
