Fitness Boxing Surpasses 1 Million
Imagineer’s Fit Boxing game (published by Nintendo in the west as Fitness Boxing) has surpassed 1 million in worldwide shipments.
Fitness Boxing originally released in Japan on December 20, 2018, and on January 4, 2019, in the west. The number reached 700,000 in April, 800,000 in May, 900,000 in July, before exceeding 1 million in September. The increase is largely attributed to the coronavirus pandemic, along with a constant flow of TV commercials and various promotions in Japan. This number includes physical shipments to stores and digital downloads on the Nintendo eShop and on the My Nintendo Store.
To commemorate achieving 1 million sales – Imagineer are holding a “Fit Boxing 1 Million Commemorative Campaign” from today, where users can win foldable Fit Boxing exercise mats and towels, with 100 up for grabs via a lottery for retweeting the applicable tweet. For more information, please visit Imagineer’s official Twitter account. The exercise mats can also be purchased at this link and the packaged version of the game (with dual language support) at this link. Thanks to PR TIMES for the above news story.
