Animal Crossing: New Horizons saw both the Spring Fishing Tourney on the Saturday (full list of rewards here) and the Bunny Day event on the Sunday (full list of rewards to be posted here).

● PONOS’ classic tower defence game Futari de!Nyanko Daisensou (Together! The Battle Cats) will see a physical Switch release in Japan on July 16 priced at ¥4,235, along with the game’s new battle mode.

● China will see physical releases of both Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey this upcoming Wednesday (April 15). Box arts here.

● Spike Chunsoft updated Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story to Version 1.0.3 with several bug fixes detailed in the patch notes posted here.

● In mobile news: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp added Sakura Shrimp Goals, Fire Emblem Heroes updated Special Maps: Rival Domains and saw Mjölnir’s Strike: Counter phase, and Mario Kart Tour will see the Birdo Cup next week.

Flyhigh Works opened up an online store (here) with a number of physical items starting with packaged versions of games, soundtracks (well, singular!), and keychains.

Gus Rodriguez (founder of Club Nintendo Mexico and more) sadly passed away at the age of just 59. Thanks to everyone who sent that in.
