● Nintendo announced they will open up pre-orders for Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Japan on February 8 with a special bundle also announced coming with an Animal Crossing-themed Dock and Joy-Con, plus the game pre-installed. Check out all the assets here.

● In the key points from the investor meeting, Nintendo Co., Ltd. President Shuntaro Furukawa said that the Super Mario Bros. Illumination movie is still set for 2022 release with Universal Pictures producing.

● Furukawa also said that paid Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions has surpassed the 15 million mark.

● More importantly, Furukawa says “We have no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model during 2020.”

● The final main bit of news is that Nintendo will be consolidating their four Tokyo offices to a single office in Kanda-Nishikicho in Chiyoda Ward.

Pokémon Sword & Shield saw Milcery added to Max Raid Battles. Another Max Raid Battle will be announced on Pokémon Day alongside a Mythical Pokémon.

● Studio Artdink announced ARTDINK BEST CHOICE Neo Atlas 1469 Guidebook Pack -a budget rerelease of the game with guidebook included- as coming to Switch on March 5 priced at ¥4,378. Box art posted here.

● Kakehashi Games announced that Dead Cells‘ Bad Seed DLC will release in Japan on February 11 on Switch and a day later on PS4.

Goonua Fighter aded the 10th experimental battle: “Special Move: Solid Swift Sliding Kick!”

● Fingerlab permanently reduced the price of Yuri on the Japanese Switch eShop from ¥1,499 to ¥799.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock decreased today by -1,500 (3.55%) in Japan to close trading for the week at 40,770.00 JPY. This is after the nine months earnings release. The company also are recruiting for someone in charge of Video / Cut Scene Production, a Design Production Coordinator, and a CG Designer (more information here).
