Tuesday Update:Doraemon Gets His Third Switch Game, Plus More News!

● After more games on the Japanese 3DS than any character not named Mario, Doraemon will be getting his third Switch game on 05 March with the action adventure game Doraemon Nobita no Shin Kyouryuu (Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur) from FuRyu.

● GungHo Online Entertainment will now be publishing the puzzle game Puzzle & Dragons GOLD in January in Japan with a two-player Battle Mode confirmed along with a Story Mode and CG monsters.

● Nintendo will be updating Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Version 6.1.0 over the next few days (we’re expecting a few hours time!). It’s unknown what it will deliver but bug fixes are expected.

● A Famitsu livestream video will be showcasing the Switch version of Terraria on 14 November at 20:00 JST. Watch it on YouTube or niconico.

● 3goo announced the Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition DLC will also be coming to Japan, but sometime after the 14 November release date in the west. Check out a couple of screenshots and the trailer here.

● With the 2D retro-style platformer Bloo Kid 2 due for release on 18 November in the west, publishers Headup Games have assured us that they’re working on releasing the game in Japan too, although there’s no release date at present.

● UNTIES will be publishing the Touhou Project racing game Gensou SkyDrift on 12 December in the west. The same date is expected in Japan. Check out the latest trailer here.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw new Golden Bug-Catching Goals now available which includes the gold horned dynastid, gold horned hercules, and gilded emperor as pictured here.

Dragalia Lost will see a new Summon Showcase, Madcap Misfits with the featured adventurer Chelsea and dragon Kagutsuchi, along with the Kindness and Captivity raid event revival begin tomorrow. Look out for a dedicated post then with profiles and videos!

Fire Emblem Heroes saw new Alfonse Quests with Orbs and Sacred Coins rewards.

● This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine will have a 44 page Pokémon Sword / Shield feature including an interview with Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori, and a feature on Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate. Teaser scans can be found here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. (7974.T) stock increased today by +430 (1.02%) in Japan to close trading for the day at 42,390.00 JPY.

● The Sonic the Hedgehog movie releases in North America on 14 February and Japan on 27 March. Check out the brand new trailer here (and Japanese here).

● Mebius will be publishing the Tokyo Dark – Remembrance – Original Soundtrack on 20 November with 2 x CDs priced at ¥4,180. Check out the cover here.
