Nintendo Live 2019 was a huge success. Check out all the stage event videos from both days here including tournaments from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (with the World Challenge Cup won by the Dream Team consisting of MkLeo, Nairo, and Mr.R), Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Maker 2 (the course choosers received this sleeve), and the live concert featuring Off the Hook and Squid Sisters, which was opened by KK Slider!

● The Pokémon Sword/Shield file size is 10.3 GB with Turtonator confirmed for the game. Also, check out booth pictures of Sobble, Grookey, Scorbunny, and Pikachu from Nintendo Live 2019 here.

● Tickets for the Luigi’s Mansion 3 trial event at Nintendo Live 2019 sold out on 16 minutes in the first day and 10 minutes on the second. Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch took 1 hour and 42 minutes on the first day and 1 hour and 25 on the second.

● Check out booth pictures of Animal Crossing: New Horizons here. The event was a huge success although saw no new footage.

● PiXEL successfully crowdfunded the the horizontal side-scrolling shoot ’em up HORGIHUGH for Switch with delivery expected by the end of April 2020. Promo video posted here.

● Studio HG said that Metallic Child will now be released in early 2020 in order to prepare more content for the game.

● And Fortnite saw a huge asteroid blow up the map to mark the end of season 10 with Epic Games deleting all Tweets on the English account (they’re still live on the Japanese account. Chapter 2 is set to launch this week.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw item sets from the Fishing Tourney: Candied Catches and the Garden Event: Jack’s Halloween Hunt available for Reissue Crafting.

Dragalia Lost will see the featured boss Sabnock added to Astral Raids on 19 October.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw Tempest Trials+: A Child’s Wish begin with 5★ Special Hero Rolf: Tricky Archer and three Sacred Seals: Swift Stance 1, Defiant Atk 1, and Chill Def 1 rewards.

● This week’s COMG! pre-orders see Pokémon Sword/Shield at 433 pts. This week’s rankings have Ghost Recon Breakpoint at number 1 with 25 pts. Disney Tsum Tsum Festival opened at number 4 with 16 pts and Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch at number 8 with 10 pts. TSUTAYA rankings has Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition on top with Disney Tsum Tsum Festival third and Yo-kai Watch 1 sixth.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will join Tekken 7, Soul Calibur VI, Samurai Shodown, and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle at EVO 2020 on 24-26 January at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

● No new Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock in Japan today due to Taiiku no hi (Health and Sports Day). Last week’s trading is at 39,870.00 JPY.

● In this week’s UK charts: FIFA 20 is number 1 for the third week, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is up to 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is down to number 7, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair opened at number 21 with 56% of sales on Switch, 30% on PS4, and 14% on Xbox One.

● SpicyTails will be announcing a new project for the visual novel series WORLD END ECONOMiCA in early November.

● The original STEINS;GATE on Xbox is 10 years old with some anniversary art posted here.
