Monday Update:Death Knight in Fire Emblem Heroes, Rasetsu Fuumaden, Water Ski, And HORGIHUGH Coming to Switch, Plus More News!

Fire Emblem Heroes added another character from Fire Emblem: Three Houses with the perilous Death Knight: The Reaper available for a Grand Hero Battle. Defeat him so he can do a face turn and align with your team!

● Square-Enix will feature Romancing SaGa 3 at the Tokyo Game Show next month with the release date expected to be revealed. The HD remaster will not see many significant changes nor additions to the Super Famicom original.

● Previously only available as part of a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate spirit board event, Link and Owl from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening spirits will now appear in the in-game shop or on the spirit board.

● The September issue of CoroCoro Comic (out now in Japan) has a code for a Ninja Box Super Trial Version, which is different from the first demo released several months ago. Check out gameplay footage from the new demo here.

● exeCUTE announced they will be bringing the action RPG Rasetsu Fuumaden to Nintendo Switch where it will likely be eShop only. Check out a promo video here.

● Hamster accidentally revealed Arcade Archives Water Ski for Nintendo Switch during a Famitsu livestream. The game originally released by Taito in 1983. Other reveals included the previously announced VS, Gradius, originally by Konami, and (VS.) Pinball, originally from Nintendo.

● PiXEL will be crowdfunding for a Switch version of the horizontal side-scrolling shoot ’em up HORGIHUGH where it is expected to be a digital only release. Check out the trailer here.

● There will be no eShop Update post this week as only Paradox Soul from Shinyuden is planned due to Obon. A Hamster title is also expected. The holidays have brought about a huge list of sales however with over 100 games newly added. Check out the full list here.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw Pop Quiz: Sanrio Characters available at Happy Homeroom yesterday.

Dragalia Lost saw an epilogue unlocked for the raid event A Splash of Adventure. A new raid event and Summon Showcase, A Crescendo of Courage will also begin tomorrow. Check out the featured adventurers Cleo and Verica, and featured dragon Siren here.

Fire Emblem Heroes also saw Grand Hero Battle Revival – Julius: Scion of Darkness and Daily Summoning Event: Heroes with Fighter Skills (featuring Hardin: Dark Emperor, Effie: Army of One, and Robin: Fell Reincarnation).

● Nintendo posted pictures and videos (here) from the Maker Faire Tokyo 2019 with some of the featured Nintendo Labo creations including the Buri-Con and Bull-Bull Kami Sumo.

COMG! reservations have Pokémon Sword/Shield at 219 pts and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition with 47 pts. This week’s top four have Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet COMPLETE EDITION with 72 pts, Super Mario Maker 2 with 34 pts, Fire Emblem: Three Houses with 19 pts, and Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version with 17 pts. TSUTAYA have the top four as Fire Emblem, Mario Maker, Tsuri Spirits, and Sword Art Online.

● Nintendo Dream readers voted for “Which Character Would Make The Best Sightseeing Guide?” Check out the full top 10 here with Isabelle at number one and the first appearance of Toad!

● It’s public holiday in Japan today so no Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock (it’s at 39,440.00 JPY btw).

● This week’s UK charts saw Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled back at number one, Super Mario Maker 2 is up to two, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is up to three, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is down to seven, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is at 10.

GRANDIA HD Collection will see Japanese audio at launch and Japanese text added in a future update.
