● Small news week due to Golden Week. Normal service should resume on Tuesday. ICYMI from yesterday: Japanese Nintendo has moved over to WordPress and is located at https://www.japanesenintendo.com.

● The latest Japanese Splatfest was announced for Splatoon 2, taking place over 11-12 May in conjunction with the NPB eSports Series and will be between Se League vs. Pa League.

● Play,Doujin! announced the Touhou Project fighting game Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers. for Nintendo Switch release, although no date has been set. 

● CFK announced the classic platform remake Wonder Boy Returns Remix for worldwide release on the Nintendo Switch eShop on 23 May priced at ¥1,620/$14.99/€9.99/£8.99.

● Nintendo of America revealed three upcoming NES games for release on the Nintendo Switch Online services with Donkey Kong Jr., VS. Excitebike, and Clu Clu Land.

● A free Nintendo Labo VR whack-a-mole type minigame Alien Bopping (Alien Tataki in Japan) can be accessed by the Nintendo Labo News Channel on the Nintendo Switch system.

● Dry Bones is now available as a playable character in Mario Tennis Aces as a reward for participating in the May Online Tournament, with Toad and Toadette tennis outfits also available.

● Nintendo are still looking for closed beta testers for the upcoming Mario Kart Tour for Android users in the United States and Japan, with testing between 22 May–04 June.
